Built by textile insiders, for textile studios
JennyERP is a modern operating system for fabric studios, ateliers and small mills. We are inspired by the original Spinning Jenny — the 1764 invention that revolutionized how textiles were made — and we're reapplying that same spirit to the digital age.
Our story
Jenny Chen, our founder, grew up in Shaoxing — the heart of China's textile industry. After working in fabric trading for a decade, she noticed every studio still managed samples, orders and inventory through spreadsheets and group chats. There had to be a better way.
In 2018 she started Jenny Software with a small team of textile professionals and engineers. Today we serve over 500 studios across 60+ countries — from indie ateliers in Brooklyn to legacy silk houses in Como.
JennyERP is our global edition — purpose-built for international studios who need beautiful, multilingual software that understands fabric.
What we believe
- Fabric is a craft. Software should respect the centuries of know-how, not replace it.
- Studios deserve modern tools. Not enterprise-y dashboards built for factories.
- Global by default. 14 languages, right-to-left, multi-currency — from day one.
- AI as a co-pilot. Label OCR, image search, instant translations — quiet helpers, not flashy chatbots.
- Beautiful, by hand. Every screen designed like a sample card.
Where we work
Our headquarters are in Prato, Italy— the fabric capital of Europe. Our engineering team is distributed across Shaoxing, Tokyo and Lisbon. We hire only people who've touched real fabric.
